Pipes
They aggregate the aggregated! Yahoo has created a great way to visually create your own combinations of RSS feeds and search engines (and other sources from around the internets) and they call it "pipes". I've been using it for a while now with "myYahoo" as a way to generate content for my browser startup page. This way I can see in a glance headlines and thumbnails from 100's of stories from 1000's of news sources.
If you go to pipes.yahoo.com, you'll see that along with being able to make your own, there are tons of "pipes" that people have shared that you can drop right into any RSS reader/homepage, such as iGoogle or netvibes.
A couple examples of pipes I like:
Google and Yahoo news together
combines the tops stories of google news and yahoo news into one feed
Most interesting Flickr images (without flowers)
I was happy to see that there was someone else who likes browsing cool flickr photos and doesn't need half of the "cool" photos to be flowers
BBC Superpipe
this takes the top stories from the BBC and makes sure that each story has a relevant thumbnail image and summary
