iPhone 3G day

I bought my first Apple product today. I refuse to call myself a die-hard PC fanboy, but it did take a lot of mulling to decide to buy something Apple-y.

Here's a photo I took of my little corner of the line this morning outside of the AT&T store in Union Square. I'm sitting in the entrance of PETCO looking out (notice that the statue of liberty is waiting in line for an iPhone):


now I wait for the iPhone activation server to uncrash so that I can see what the fuss is about for myself:
