Geeks, Nerds, what do you call these people?

I just browsed Steve Schofield's gallery of "special" Americans and the thought occurred to me (many times during my browsing) that these are good photos of people who look like my high school friends, and some of my current friends. There are some that will look at these photos and laugh, but I just see the misunderstood.

By the way, Roger, I think the captain Picard guy in one of the photos is that guy you said you knew.
