bus kind

This morning I saw a bus driver do something pretty amazing. I was in the bus and as we neared a stop, the bus driver noticed a women who had run to catch a different bus, but she'd missed it. She was panting and out of breath and the bus driver stopped and yelled out the door for her to jump on - he'd race to catch that other bus for her. She hesitated for a moment then jumped up into the bus, at which point the bus driver quickly closed the door and sped up the bus to catch that other bus. I've never been in a bus going that fast in NYC, but it was only for 2 blocks. Then the bus driver drove his bus slightly in front of the other bus so that this woman could get out and catch the other bus. Amazing.
